Indonesia Educational Statistics In Brief 2022/2023 Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT) is committed to providing data to support education policy. The “Indonesia Education Statistics in Brief 2022/2023” is one of the regular publications produced by the Center for Data and Information Technology of the MoECRT. The data provided in the edition can be used as a reference for policymaking, policy evaluation, research, and other relevant activities. This publication consists of four elements; basic information, education-specific
information, information on the education budget, and information on education participation. The basic information covers information on demographic data, regional classification, population, education system, education institution, education pyramid, and student flow. The education-specific information covers education institution data which covers kindergarten, early childhood education, special education, primary education, junior secondary education, senior secondary education, and education for all levels. The education budget section covers the national budget as well as the education budget.

The education participation covers the gross participation rate and net participation rate for each education level. This book also refers to the information used in Indonesian Statistics 2023 by Statistics Indonesia, Statistics of Madrasah 2022 by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, and School Statistics 2022/2023 by MoECRT’s Center for Data and Information Technology. We thank all stakeholders involved in the production of this publication. Every input provided by stakeholders will be used to improve our future publication.
